The Ford Next-Gen Ranger pick-up truck has got a variant that accentuate its off-road capabilities, with technical changes, a redesigned chassis and unique design features.
The Wildtrak X improves upon the Wildtrak. To improve the Ranger's off-road capabilities, it raises the ride height by 26 mm, widens the track by 30 mm, and adds stronger, position-sensitive Bilstein dampers.

Together with a steel bash plate and a new Trail Turn assist system, which Ford claims may reduce the Ranger's turning radius by up to 25% through brake-based torque vectoring, stronger heavy-duty power steering is also featured as standard.

The Wildtrak X's grille surround, wheel arch trim, rear bumper, and bumper H-bar are all painted asphalt-black. Ford's logo, which is also black, and the 17-inch black alloy wheels with white lettering go well with the black Wildtrak X badges.
